General Purpose
As Customer Lead Retail you are the central point of contact for one of our key clients. In your role you are responsible to build, develop, and maintain strong trusted relationships with our clients to support their digital success. You ensure customer satisfaction by anticipating the client’s needs and guiding them through the entire journey to the next level of digitalization. Specifically working in the Retail industry, you will be responsible for a client in the areas of food, fashion, cosmetics, sporting goods, furniture, and electronics. You collaborate closely with the MMS executive board and develop models for successful customer relationships in our customer success network. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for key clients and build up strong and trusting customer relation
  • Advice clients at management level on strategy development and provide impulses for concrete digitalization opportunities
  • Build up deep understanding of the client and its needs and develop the MMS product portfolio respectively
  • Ensure customer’s satisfaction with our products/services and identify new business opportunities through cross-, and upselling
  • Resolve client’s issues and complaints and anticipate challenges and improvement potentials
  • Coordinate, connect, and support the MMS teams at the client site
  • Support approaching the retail industry through own expertise and industry knowledge

Knowledge skills & experience
  • 3+ years experience as sales manager/key-account manager in the retail industry
  • Digitalization expert in the retail industry
  • Creative, energetic and convincing communicator that can demonstrate the competitive advantages stemming from digitalization
  • Outstanding networking and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Excellent presentation and story-telling skills
  • Team-player with positive mindset and result-orientation
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
